Accessibility Training
Gain the foundations you need to make and keep your website accessible.
Be Accessible works with your team to ensure that your website provides an inclusive experience to everyone.
Do you have a mobile app? We can audit that too!
It is our goal to provide you with everything you need to ensure all of your digital products are accessible and in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 Standards, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Personalized web accessibility training plans
As with all of our services, we personalize our training to meet the needs of your business or organization. We offer digital accessibility training plans for decision-makers and developers. Select which option is best for your team and we will create a personalized training session tailored to your organization’s needs.
Accessibility training for decision makers
This webinar is designed for business owners, managers, and decision makers that hire or employ developers but don’t touch code. We include
- A review of the regulatory landscape and key insights from the surge of lawsuits
- Training to perform a high-level evaluation of your website – without knowing code
- Guidelines on how to select evaluation tools for checking web accessibility
- A sample web accessibility plan
Accessibility training for developers
Most accessibility barriers come from flaws in frontend code—flaws that could have been prevented by developers who understand the core principles of accessibility and have the tools needed to evaluate their own code.
Our half-day and full-day workshops offer hands-on experience with building and testing common user interface features from images to navigation.
Participants will also learn how to test with common screen readers to experience how assistive technology works.
